Every product you purchase comes with a Hydra Certificate. This card serves two purposes: it verifies your product is authentic, and it grants you access to our refill program.

The name comes from the mythological Hydra—a creature that regenerates. When you refill instead of repurchase, you're participating in a cycle of regeneration rather than consumption.

We don't gauarantee reissue of certificates, especially if the reason is you inadvertantly lost it.

What Happens to Returned Bottles?

The Sustainability Commitment

When you purchase a bottle, you agree to either reuse it or return it. This agreement is part of our Hydra Certificate, ensuring every bottle has a purpose beyond a single use.

We're not interested in creating a closed loop just to look good. We're committed to building a system where bottles are genuinely reused, repurposed, or recycled responsibly.

Our goal is simple: no bottle should end up in a landfill. Every return contributes to a cleaner planet and a more sustainable future.

How to Return Your Bottle

  • Bring to any designated collection station
  • Mail it back (email us for a prepaid label)
  • Clean bottles get recycled into creative projects

No mailage or admin fees. No hidden agendas.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use refill pricing on a different formula?

No, the Hydra Certificate only applies on the same product you purchased. To start the Cycle of other variations, you will have to purchase the first bottle first.
How many times can I use my Hydra Certificate?

Each certificate is valid for one refill redemption. When you purchase at refill pricing, you receive a new product with a new Hydra Certificate for your next refill.
Can I stack refill pricing with other discounts?

No. You can use refill pricing OR current promotions, whichever gives you better savings, unless otherwise specified according to the particular promotion.
What if my code isn't working?

1. Double-check you've entered the code exactly as printed (including dashes)
2. Verify you're entering the correct order number
3. If still not working, contact cs@carboncopy.one
Does the refill pricing expire?

No. As long as you have your certificate and present it with your order number, refill pricing applies. We don't put expiration dates on commitments. However, we reserve rights to have reasonable price adjustments in the future and to end the program if the product came into end of life. We will announce special arrangements by then and make sure we will accommodate those who kept their certificates.

Can someone else use my certificate?

No. Each certificate is tied to a specific order. We verify the authentication code matches the order number you provide. Transfers aren't allowed. We reserve the right to conduct further due diligence check if there are reasonable ground to think that the certificate is not eligible to be redeemed.
What if I want to return the product?

Returns are subject to our return policy. You must present your Hydra Certificate. Window is 90 days from purchase. See our full return policy for details.
Do I have to pay any mailage or admin fee for return bottle?

No. There are no hidden agendas, and for mailage, you may call us to obtain a paid label for delivery of the bottle.
